As with most things EDM-related, it is a form of self expression, an accomplishment, and as some put it “a way to improve their mental and physical health”.The Shuffle dance was developed in the 1980s, it is improvised dancing where the person repeatedly “shuffles” the feet inwards, then outwards, while thrusting their arms up and down, or side to side, in time with the beat.

Dominican Bachata Beginners

This class covers the fundamentals. Students get introduced to timing, rhythm, body movement, lead-follow connection, basic step patterns and partner combinations.

No partner required. No experience necessary.

This class is a great start to learning Bachata moves that you’ll find people dancing at a typical bachata night club.

The class is ongoing and held at the same time each week, with the same instructor. It is structured to give you maximum learning results in a group setting through repetition and practice of steps and lead/follow technique to help your muscle memory execute basic moves and variations with minimal thinking.

The goal of this class is to bring a confident dancer from a group class setting out on to the social dance floor within few months. An additional learning opportunity is available during private lessons.
